Thomas O'Malley whilst serenading Duchess and he stole my heart alongside hers. He is smooth and interested and charming. Shallowness aside, O'Malley holds a deeper resonance for me. He is an
alley cat and he still manages to become the hero of the story. He saves the Duchess from the evil butler, Edgar . He becomes her Duke. All of us alley cats can be heroes just like O'Malley. And through misfortune and hardship we rise and become wiser despite feeling like outsiders. I've gained some wisdom in my 18 years of living but I am still so going to be a cat mum when I'm old and pass down my will to 87 cats, like Adelaide Bonfamille, the elderly pianist and guardian of Duchess and the kittens.
